On the first step of the invitation maker, choose one of the holiday event types. Fête switches your invitation to the matching theme and AI Assist writes in a holiday tone:

- Halloween: put costume rules in Dress Code (“Costumes required, courage optional”).
- Friendsgiving: use the Special Note for the potluck plan (“Bring a side or a bottle”), and set Max Capacity if the table is limited.
- Holiday party: Dress Code “Festive attire”; gift-exchange rules and budget in the Special Note.
- New Year’s Eve: note the countdown plans and late-night rides home in the Special Note.
- Set an RSVP deadline about a week out so you can plan food and drinks.
Add a photo for a little holiday magic
Upload a hero image and it becomes a living photo with effects that match your holiday theme — glowing embers for Halloween, falling leaves for Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving, drifting snow for Christmas and Winter Gala, and champagne sparkles for New Year’s Eve.
When to send
Pro hosts can nudge anyone who hasn’t replied from the Reminders tab — see tracking RSVPs.
- Halloween: 2–3 weeks ahead — costumes take planning.
- Friendsgiving: 2–3 weeks ahead; the weekend before Thanksgiving is popular.
- December holiday parties: 3–4 weeks ahead — calendars fill up fast.
- New Year’s Eve: 3–4 weeks ahead, before guests commit elsewhere.

Yes — holiday event types and all seasonal themes are included on the Free plan (up to 3 events and 50 guests each).
Can guests bring a plus-one or share dietary needs?+
Yes. When guests RSVP they can add a plus-one, dietary needs, a song request and a note to you — all of it shows up in your dashboard.
